Spiritual Warfare A Biblical and Balanced Approach

Most Christians do not approach their day with the thoughts of warfare and battles.  But Borgman and Ventura expound 10 verses of Ephesians 6 explaining the need for a wake up call in this important arena of Christian life.  While many may shy away from talk of demons, spiritual forces of evil etc, we must recognize our spiritual enemy and equip ourselves with our God-given tools in order to live as effective ministers and witnesses to his kingdom in our present time.
Each of the 13 chapter takes a few verses of scripture and challenges the reader to think deeply about its meaning and context in Paul's time and in our own lives.  One cannot put this book down without being challenged to take our Christian walk more seriously and engage in the battle which Christ has already won for us on the cross.  Without the spiritual discernment and equipment that Ephesians 6:10-20, we suffer both individually and corporately in the body of Christ.
In the final appendix of the book, the author challenges the readers to pray especially for Pastors who are at the forefront of the battle and who desperately need the spiritual help of the Christian community.
